This tutorial explain how to install fast and easy Webmin on Debian 4.0R1 (but it should work on next releases too...)
Commands are intended for command prompt.

First of all we download in our root directory the .deb version of webmin (check out on the website if a new version is available)

cd /root

wget http://heanet.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/webadmin/webmin_1.370_all.deb

Then we FIRST install ssleay plus some other dependecies, or connection to webmin server won't be possible

apt-get install libnet-ssleay-perl libauthen-pam-perl libio-pty-perl libmd5-perl

Last we will install webmin

dpkg -i webmin_1.370_all.deb

At this point, as you can read on the terminal, webmin is installed and started, ready to be connected.
